Sean Dyche insists Everton DON’T need a fire sale this transfer window

Sean Dyche has warned potential Premier League vultures that Everton don’t need a fire sale in the last few days of the transfer window.

Amadou Onana, Jarrad Branthwaite and Abdoulaye Doucoure have been linked moves out of Goodison Park but Dyche insists the club’s financial situation has stabilised since being hit with a 10-point deduction, and facing a further charge relating to accounts up to 2023.

Everton sold Anthony Gordon to Newcastle for £45million at the end of last year’s January window and six players including Alex Iwobi left in the summer to raise further revenue.

‘I think the club can at least control its finances at this time,’ said Dyche.

‘Very rarely do clubs have fire sales. We are certainly not looking at anything like that.

‘You want to keep your best players and I think the club are aware of that. We have thinned down the squad to a point where injuries do affect it.

‘There is only so far that the cutting can go until you go ‘Right, we still need a group that are competitive.’

‘Some of the work from the last window is paying us back now because obviously it is in better Shape Kapseln.

‘I’ve certainly not been told we have to do anything other than crack on with what we’re doing,’

Everton are appealing the points deduction handed out for exceeding permitted losses between 2019 and 2022 and today’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Luton is a welcome distraction for both clubs from a relegation battle.

Everton have been hit with further FFP charges in accounts relating back to 2023

Ironically, Luton winger Andros Townsend is one of the players Everton had to sacrifice last summer when his contract run out.

Dyche celebrates his first anniversary at Goodison on Tuesday and admits: ‘It has been interesting. Challenging. There has certainly been a heavy workload, off the pitch as much as on it.’

He’ll be without injured trio Abdoulaye Doucoure, Seamus Coleman and Andre Gomes today while Ashley Young may be held back for the important midweek Premier League game against Fulham.

Lana Del Rey stuns in vintage black sheer dress alongside Taylor Swift

Lana Del Rey looked incredible in black lace as she attended Sunday’s Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles.

The singer, 38, who scored five nominations at the awards, made her grand arrival in a vintage sheer black lace dress with a bell shape that came down to her knees.

The striking dress also had puffy shoulders and short sleeves.

Her raven locks were styled in soft waves with blunt bangs paired with a black silk bow.

Lana was nominated in the Best Alternative Music Album, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year categories – but lost out on the night, meaning a Grammy still eludes the star.

She posed up with her Snow on the Beach collaborator and BFF Taylor Swift, 34,

While the New York native, who had six previous nominations, didn’t take home the trophy for either honor, it was her bestie, Taylor Swift, who won the coveted Album Of The Year for a history-making fourth time.

She also got noms for Song Of The Year and Best Alternative Music Performance for A&W, as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration on Candy Necklace with Jon Batiste.

Del Rey would again lose out to another huge pop star for the Song Of The Year category that went to Billie Eilish for her song What Was I Made For? that she wrote with brother and collaborator, Finneas O’Connell.

Swift and Lana Del Rey first connected at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, as reported by several publications, including MTV, and have been fans of each other ever since.

Antonoff helped facilitate they ladies to work together, resulting in the Summertime Sadness singer being featured on Swift’s song Snow On The Beach that was released on her Midnights (2022) album.

‘She was very adamant that she wanted me to be on the album, and I really liked that song,’ Del Rey said, as reported by J-14. I thought it was nice to be able to bridge that world, since Jack [Antonoff] and I work together and so do Jack and Taylor.’

Antonoff, 39, first worked with Swift when they co-wrote the song Sweeter Than Fiction (2013) for the biographical film One Chance.

The singer-songwriter accessorized with several bows: one of which was on the top of her head, on her pump and her gloves

Eventually, Del Rey rejoined bestie Taylor Swift after the duo arrived fashionably late

The two acclaimed singers have known each other since 2012, and have collaborated on one of Swift’s songs off the Midnights album
