Kim Zolciak sells skincare line amid ongoing financial problems

Kim Zolciak has sold her skincare line Kashmere Kollections, amid ongoing financial issues in her split with estranged husband Kroy Biermann.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum, 45, sold the skin and body care line, which she created in 2016, to the company 310 Nutrition LLC, both announced in a news release Thursday.

‘Heartfelt thank you for the incredible loyalty you’ve shown @kashmerekollections!’ Zolciak said in an Instagram caption alongside an announcement of the deal. ‘I can’t wait to watch the brand’s growth. Here’s to your future filled with endless possibilities!’

The Don’t Be Tardy star said in a statement in announcing the sale that after she became a mother for the first time, she was inspired on ‘a mission to tackle skin challenges like stretch marks that can come with fluctuating weight gain and loss.’

Zolciak added that she and her team ‘sought out highly renowned formulators to craft my flagship product, the Luxurious Toning Oil’ which ‘is still one of the top sellers in the Kashmere Kollections brand, along with a wide range of affordable luxury products for skin, body, and hair.’

Tim Sharif, the founder of 310 Nutrition, said in the news release that he was ‘thrilled to help take Kashmere Kollections to new heights.’

Sharif added: ‘Carrying on the original vision for this company of creating inclusive, premium skincare aligns perfectly with my mission of empowering people to embrace their best selves through healthier lifestyle choices.’

The sale of the skincare line comes amid reports that she and Biermann have been besieged by massive financial issues in their split – which he says is the result of her gambling habit – leading them to push for a quick sale of their Georgia mansion.

The former couple have been seeking to sell the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom home, recently reducing their asking price on multiple occasions amid time constraints.

Zolciak and Biermann are parents to four kids – Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kane and Kaia, 10. Biermann had adopted Zolciak’s older children from previous relationships – Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 22 – when they were minors in the couple’s earlier years.

In the legal documents Biermann filed in September, the former Atlanta Falcons player requested the court allow him to move forward in putting the family’s mansion on the market, stating it was on the brink of foreclosure.

Biermann and Zolciak have been hindered by major financial and relationship problems in recent months, having initially split in May before calling off their divorce in July.

They have reconciled and split up since then multiple times amid their ongoing family financial crisis, as Biermann in May called Zolciak a ‘compulsive behavior addict’ who had squandered $1.5 million dollars of the family fortune gambling.

Zolciak on Tuesday reposted the news release touting the sale on her Instagram page

Zolciak and Biermann have dealt with ongoing strife amid massive financial problems

Amid their split, they have dealt with ongoing strife amid massive financial problems; and have been seeking to sell the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom Milton, Georgia mansion

The NFL alum made the allegations against Zolciak after she called police May 4, 2023 at their Milton, casino games and poker Georgia mansion, prior to his first divorce filing.

The accusations about Zolciak’s gambling losses were seen in a Milton Police Department bodycam video after officers responded to the home after Kim reported a domestic dispute.

The footage was obtained by RadarOnline.com after Biermann and Zolciak filed for divorce from one another amid a 12-year marriage.

Biermann – who was cautious as he spoke to law enforcement in hopes Zolciak would not hear him- called the Bravo personality a ‘narcissist to the extreme level;’ and said that Zolciak’s penchant for gambling had grown exponentially in recent years.

‘It’s probably been going on for pretty much our entire marriage and it’s gotten significantly worse,’ Biermann said of Zolciak, who was pictured at a Bitcoin ATM in June in Atlanta. ‘In the last two years, she’s gambled away $700,000 – just in the last two-and-a-half years.’

He added: ‘The total in the marriage was about $1.5 million dollars – and she does it online.’

In the incident, Zolciak told police that Biermann had locked in a safe a cache of valuable items she owned that were worth $175,000 – including designer purses and jewelry – and hid the key from her.

Biermann said he believed the lot of items fell under the classification of community property, adding of the items: ‘The problem is these are the assets, there are no [other] assets to go to.’

The former pair was pictured in October of 2022 attending a Post Malone concert in Atlanta

The pair initially filed for divorce from one another in May, but reconciled in July

Biermann told police that the Don’t Be Tardy alum ‘has decimated everything’ with her penchant for gambling; he added that some of her gaming activity was illegal.

Brielle has also been dogged by financial issues, as she was sued last year by American Express over an unpaid balance.

Zolciak sold off some of daughter Brielle Biermann’s designer goods in July to drum up funds, with asking prices up to $20,000 for the high-ticket items.

In their first two months of being split – in which both asked the court for sole legal and physical custody of their four younger children – Zolciak and Biermann took issue with one another in court documents.

Zolciak said that Biermann smokes marijuana, calling into credibility his ability to raise their kids; while Biermann claimed that Zolciak’s gambling habit has consumed her time and decimated the family finances.

Biermann told officers they had continued to sleep in the same bed but did not engage with one another.

News broke in July that the reality TV pair had decided not to split, withdrawing their divorce papers in Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia. They were seen shortly before attending a church together in Atlanta.

Kim and Kroy’s trips to the casino were documented on her Bravo series Don’t Be Tardy

Kroy told police that Kim had ‘gambled away $700,000 – just in the last two-and-a-half years’

Kim’s predilection for online and casino gaming had caused a rift in the 12-year union

Biermann was pictured during a preseason game for the Atlanta Falcons in 2014. He played for eight seasons in the NFL

Zolciak rose to fame as a member of the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and parlayed her popularity into the spinoff Don’t Be Tardy… on Bravo. She also competed on five episodes of Dancing with the Stars in 2015.

Biermann was drafted into the NFL in 2008 after attending the University of Montana, and played eight seasons, all for the Falcons.

He had his most productive year on the field in 2012 when he started 14 games, racking up 36 tackles, three sacks and scoring a touchdown on an interception.

The pair exchanged vows in a lavish $1 million wedding on November 11, 2011 – marking the date 11/11/11 – at their Georgia mansion.

Ex-Las Vegas casino exec pleads guilty to aiding illicit gambling ring

A former top Las Vegas casino executive faces up to five years in prison after admitting to assisting an illegal gambling ring run by a former minor league baseball ballplayer who carted duffel bags full of cash to The Strip.

Scott Sibella pleaded guilty on Wednesday to his role in Wayne Nix’s illicit sports betting ring, which catered to VIPs including NBA legend Scottie Pippen and LeBron James’ business manager Maverick Carter.

According to a plea agreement, Sibella turned a blind eye when Nix arrived at the MGM Grand in 2018 with $120,000 in cash to pay off a gambling debt, failing to file a suspicious-activity report in violation of federal anti-money laundering rules.

Sibella also lavished Nix with free hotel stays, complimentary meals and golf outings with other high-rollers between August 2017 and February 2019, according to the plea agreement.

The MGM Grand and another MGM Resorts property, The Cosmopolitan, agreed to pay $7.5 million in fines as part of a non-prosecution agreement over Nix’s activities, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Former Las Vegas casino executive Scott Sibella pleaded guilty on Wednesday to his role in Wayne Nix’s illicit sports betting ring, which catered to VIPs and professional athletes

According to a plea agreement, Sibella turned a blind eye when Nix arrived at the MGM Grand in 2018 with $120,000 in cash to pay off a gambling debt

In a statement through his attorney, Sibella said: ‘I take full responsibility for my actions and inactions, but I must make clear I took no action for my personal benefit or inurement.’

DailyMail.com reported in August that the federal investigation of Nix’s gambling ring had extended to Las Vegas, where agents questioned current and former employees at the MGM Grand and Resorts World.

Sibella was president of the MGM Grand for eight years, until joining Resorts World Las Vegas as president in 2019.

He was fired from Resorts World in September, with the Genting Group-owned casino saying at the time that it was ‘was recently made aware that Mr. Sibella violated company policies and the terms of his employment.’

Nix, a former pitcher for Oakland Athletics farm teams, pleaded guilty in 2022 to conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business and filing a false tax return.

Prosecutors say he ran a massive illegal sports betting operation in California that used other former pro athletes to take bets, and took wagers from celebrities including active professional players.

The sprawling investigation into the betting ring has continued, leading to charges against a celebrity accountant, ex-MBL star Yasiel Puig, and others.

The charges against Sibella are the latest fallout from the investigation, which is being run by federal prosecutors in Los Angeles.

Sibella insisted to investigators in 2022 that he did not know how Nix earned the money he used to gamble at MGM properties.

‘I didn’t want to know because of my position,’ he said, according to the Journal. ‘If we know, we can’t allow them to gamble…I didn’t want to know I guess because he wasn’t doing anything to cheat the casino.’

Scottie Pippen (left), the retired NBA Hall of Famer and Michael Jordan’s longtime Chicago Bulls teammate, admitted to placing at least one bet with Nix

But prosecutors say that in January 2019, Nix told Sibella that an MGM Grand customer, who was known to Sibella, had placed a $5 million bet on the Super Bowl through Nix’s business, according to documents.

Nix also used luxury golf outings provided by MGM Grand to lure in new clients for his betting operation, prosecutors say.

And at least two casino hosts assigned to Nix were also aware of the betting ring, and on one occasion Nix told a host that he would be upset if one of his clients traveled to Vegas to gamble before paying off a sports betting debt to Nix.

Sibella faces up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000 after pleading guilty to failing to file suspicious activities reports while employed at MGM.

‘I am pleased to have this investigation and its findings reaching a conclusion,’ said Sibella’s statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

‘I am proud of my 35 years of contributions and leadership to the industry that has meant so much to and has supported me,’ he added. ‘As this process comes to a conclusion, I look forward to continuing to provide my knowledge, skills and insights to support the continued growth, evolution and professionalism of the gaming industry.’

Sibella, 60, was a veteran of the Las Vegas Strip, and previously held high-level positions at the Mirage, Treasure Island, Tropicana and Golden Nugget.

He also served as an executive at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, and the Tropicana’s Atlantic City outpost.

In 2011, when he was President and COO of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Sibella starred in an episode of Undercover Boss, posing as a blackjack dealer on the casino’s floor.

Surveillance video shows a confrontation between Robert Alexander (on scooter) and RJ Cipriani (standing) in Crockfords, a Hilton-managed hotel at Resorts World Las Vegas. The incident is the subject of a pending lawsuit naming Sibella as a defendant

In 2019, he departed the MGM Grand and took a new job at Resorts World. He was fired from Resorts World in September, with the company issuing a public statement claiming he ‘violated company policies.’

Sibella is also a defendant in a lawsuit filed by Las Vegas high roller Robert ‘RJ’ Cipriani in October.

Cipriani, a high-stakes professional blackjack player, in the suit alleges that Sibella brushed off his July 2021 warnings that felons with fraud and illegal gambling convictions were playing at Resorts World.

The suit alleged that the famed casino allowed a convicted fraudster to menace and harass Cipriani from the back of a mobility scooter, claiming negligence, civil conspiracy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Sibella’s attorney previously denied the lawsuit’s claims in a statement to DailyMail.com, calling them ‘the latest rehashing of allegations against Resorts World and Mr. Sibella that have been thoroughly investigated and determined to be baseless by Nevada gaming authorities and others.’
