A study from the Oregon State University Extension Office has found out that jalapeno peppers actually repel moles. This should not be a problem for those who are not gardeners since it will only require you to dig small holes in your yard and deposit fresh jalapeno peppers. Make sure that the holes that you dig are in near proximity to mole tunnels. However, if you try this, be prepared to weed out jalapeno plants since they may grow in those spots.
